Artist's Comments

Paul, posting an image on DA!? GASP!

I'm new at this 3D stuff. I've been working with it for three or four weeks at this point, and this is the best thing I've created thus far. Sure, it could be a bit better, but I think it's pretty good for someone who has no idea what he's doing.

This is a 3D model of the stuffed Kangaroo that sits upon my Television. It was given to me for christmas by ~ClarifiedAbstract, thus it is very special.

A background shall be added later on, when I have a bit more time on my hands.

Edit: Oh, if anyone's curious, it was made in Blender.

He ish very secksy. His white fur still looks a bit bristly, but it looks waaaaaay better than it did before. The seams make the hind paws look a bit busy, but they also sort of draw attention with their heavier shadows. Ye fixed the mouth very well; not it's not so bold. 'Tis very nice, yush.

Someday... When that'll be, I have no idea, but I have to give this guy a good place to live!

Ahh, thanks! I actually gave both the white and brown hairs the same thickness settings, but for some reason the white ones are still quite chunky. *Shrug* but yeah, they're not so dark now. This was really quite an informative experiment, as I had no idea what I was doing when I started. I'm glad it all turned out okay!

Paul, that's downright awesome. I don't know dick about proper 3D rendering, so I can't offer any real critique, but you seem to have it under control.

It must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Thanks, I'm glad ya' like it! It's not too bad if you're patient enough to read the instructions (And I'm surprised I got as far as I did, I'm usually waaaay too ADD). Of course, now I need to get back into it! School was so busy, I kinda got out of practice...
